For he has delivered us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins. Colossians 1:13 & 14.

Overweight and Judgement

 My issue with weight.

The answer to why you are overweight doesn’t matter today. But tomorrow when you realize that you are perfectly loved by Jesus, you may go and sin no more, you will be free from whatever it is. Stop Judging yourself evil, guilty, shameful, ugly, fat, you fill in the blank! God is not judging you. God loves you and every person, even if you don’t know him yet. And if you do, all the more to see his perfect love for you and for them. Love the adulterer to freedom from regret, shame, fear. Love the sick, rejected, depressed and show them that the love of God is for all the new Humanity.

Don’t like this message? Then you will keep judging yourself. By the measure you judge them is the measure you then judge yourself by. That is why you are trapped. You condemn and judge yourself.

If I judge that a lady is overweight, fat, over eater, oh she should stop. What happens to me? I have done the same thing, by judging her, I judge myself to be overweight, fat and an over eater. That is what I get in return.

This is true. Because I judge myself when I look in the mirror that I’m so fat, what can I do? So, I’m upset with myself and can’t seem to lose a pound. So, when I see anyone over weight I judge them as I have judged myself. So, I’m trapped and can’t get free.

When I Stop condemning, criticizing, judging others who are overweight, I will stop judging myself and I will get FREE. Don’t forget who you are. Every person has the spirit of God breathed into them. Or they wouldn’t be alive. Rise up and realize that you are loved, forgiven, set free and Papa God will never get out of your body. He is trying to get you to see how wonderful you really are.

Eve was deceived. Eve was deceived to believe a lie about herself, which is the fruit of the “I am not" tree. Meaning I am not what I should be.

You believe the lie about yourself and the illusion of separation from God, but you are not separated. You are one with Him.  Have always been one with him and from the creation of man, we have always been one with him.  If you believe you are not one with him, then you are believing a lie that you are separated from God.

You are not separated.  This was Adam and Eve’s lie that they believed, once they ate from the tree of The Knowledge of Good and Evil.  They believed the lie that they were no longer loved by God.  You get what you believe!  They believed they were separated from God.  Literally they could not be separated from God because he breathed life into them.  Everyone reading this is alive and breathing, I am sure of that. So, you have a choice.  Choose life.  Choose to believe the truth that God, our creator God, created you, loves you, wants a relationship with you, and will never leave you. Think about it. Who told you that you are overweight? Not Jesus, not the one who loves you so very much.

Someone else told you that.  Stop believing that lie, close your eyes get restful and at peace and think about something that you would love to do if you weighed your dream weight.

Let us say 140.  You pick the number; you pick the activity that you want to be doing.  Close your eyes get quiet with the Lord, you are the ark of God.  You are the temple.  He lives in you, not outside of you, you are not reaching for God. He is in you. Close your eyes. Think about what you would be doing if you weighed 140 pounds.  Would you be that champion tennis player?  Would you be a dance teacher?  Would you just love to run? Whatever it is, got that picture in your mind in your heart right now. I want you to do this every day for just a minute or two, maybe three that you think about other things you want maybe five minutes.  Just think for a few minutes every day and every night the same picture of you running on the beach, by your beach house with your dog’s running behind. The sun shining down on you, at your perfect weight that you are.  Every day you will be able to picture it clearer. You heart will start believing and your eyes will start seeing it clearly.

He will never leave you.  He will never for sake you when you turn to that inner ark inside of you.  You have communion with him and you will receive what you want.  You do not beg God, you do not plead, you go to that quiet place.  Picture yourself doing your dream.  Picture yourself how you want to be inside in the ark of the covenant with God the father right with you.  You do not have to go climb some steps in Nepal.  You certainly do not have to say 1000 Hail Mary’s. What you need is the God inside of you.  Loving you, encouraging you. He wants to be a partner.  Let him.

With my sincerest, love for you. Pastor Valerie Rounsfull

Here are some Scriptures below so you can see, not to judge yourself.

Matthew 7:1 “Refuse to be a critic full of bias toward others, and judgment will not be passed on you.

Matthew 7:2 For you’ll be judged by the same standard that you’ve used to judge others.  The measurement you use on them will be used on you.

Luke 6:37 Jesus said, “Forsake the habit of criticizing and judging others, and then you will not be criticized and judged in return. Don’t look at others and pronounce them guilty, and you will not experience guilty accusations yourself. Forgive over and over and you will be forgiven over and over.

John 12:47 If you hear my words and refuse to follow them, I do not judge you. For I have not come to judge you but to save you.
